Housing Oregon Industry Support Conference

Join affordable housing and community development practitioners, policy makers and business partners from across the state for a day of inspiration, skills-building, and advocacy. Wednesday, Sept. 18 offers several afternoon 1/2 day advanced workshops followed by Housing Oregon's Annual Meeting and Annual Awards Gala (separate registration required). Thursday, Sept. 19 offers 25+ workshops organized in four break-out sessions. In collaboration with Oregon Housing and Community Services, most conference workshops are aligned with the new Statewide Housing Plan priorities highlighting opportunities to partner on efforts to advance these affordable housing goals over the next five years. The lunchtime plenary highlights historic accomplishments secured for affordable housing during the 2019 Legislative session.

      Are there hotel group rate discounts for accommodations?

      If seeking accommodations there are a limited number of on site rooms available at a discounted rate. Register at www.portland.hilton.com and enter three letter code: HOSinto the Group/Convention Code box. Or call 1-800-HILTONS to speak with a reservations agent to book a room.

      What payment options are there?

      You may pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or check. If by check, please register, choose "Invoice Me" and an invoice will be emailed to you. Send a check to Housing Oregon, PO Box 8427, Portland, OR 97207. For individual registrations, please be sure to note participant name on check. For table of ten note its for table registration.

      What type of dinner options will be available?

      Our menu for the Gala includes both meat, fish, vegetarian, and vegan options, which you may select in the registration process.

      Do I have to bring a ticket to the event?

      No, you do not need a printed ticket. Your payment and registration information will be available at the event.

      Does my registration include a ticket to the Annual Awards Gala?

      No. The Annual Awards Gala and Industry Support Conference are separate events. To register for the Annual Awards Gala, please visit the registration page.  

      What is the dress code?

      Dress code is Portland gala formal. People generally wear outfits from business casual to cocktail attire. Men are most often in suits, and women are most often in slacks & blouses, work dresses, or cocktail dresses.

      What are my transportation and parking options getting to the event?

      The Hilton Portland Downtown, at 921 SW 6th Ave, is easily accessible by car, bike and public transportation. It is on the downtown transit mall with nearby Max stops for the red, green, blue and orange lines. Nearest parking for an hourly fee is Fifth Taylor Garage at the Duniway Hotel, 525 SW Taylor St. or Smart Park Garage at SW 4th and Yamhill (818 SW 4th Ave), or Fox Tower at 775 SW Taylor St. Hilton valet parking is located at their SW 6th Ave. entrance near SW Salmon St. corner. There is also metered street parking available.
