Fiscal Managers Peer Group – Housing Oregon
The Corporate Activity Tax (CAT) - Understanding its effects on the affordable housing industry
Kari Young and Fritz Duncan from Jones & Roth CPAs will discuss the new Corporate Activity Tax (CAT) and answer your questions, as best they can, on its effects on the affordable housing industry. The new CAT is imposed on businesses for the privilege of doing business in this state. Many affordable housing CDCs have been contacted by their general contractors this winter about unplanned additional expenses due to the tax.
We’ll also have time for introductions and an opportunity for you to share what issues are affecting your work this year and possible topics for future meetings.
