We are pleased to Announce the Housing Oregon 2024 Conference and Awards Gala!

Join us on September 24 and 25 at the Hilton Doubletree in Portland, Oregon for two days of education, inspiration, and connection. We will share the latest research, innovative ideas, and crucial resources for affordable housing industry practitioners to be catalysts for change in their communities. Our peer groups will offer a great way to network and connect with industry professionals specializing in certain areas.

Industry Awards Night - The Gala

In addition to the conference, we invite you to attend our Awards Gala on Tuesday evening, September 24th. Happy hour at 6 pm, Gala  dinner begins at 7 pm. This is an opportunity to recognize the exceptional contributions of staff, leaders, and volunteers from our member organizations. We encourage you to nominate deserving candidates from your organization.

    How can my organization sponsor?

    Are there hotel group rate discounts for accommodations?

    Housing Oregon Conference and Awards Gala special room rates are available via this link. Regular Hilton rates might be lower than the Housing Oregon group rate, but our rate includes free parking a $29 value.

    What payment options are there?

    You may pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or check.

    If by check, please register, choose "Invoice Me" and an invoice will be emailed to you. Send a check to Housing Oregon, PO Box 8427, Portland, OR 97207. For individual registrations, please be sure to note participant name on check. For table of ten note its for table registration.

    Do I have to bring a ticket to the event?

    No, you do not need a printed ticket. Your payment and registration information will be available at the event.

    Does my registration include a ticket to the Annual Awards Gala?

    It depends. Please review the details of the specific ticket type.

    Is language interpretation offered?

    We aim to have language interpretation for a few workshops. Specific workshops and tracks offering interpretation will be posted soon.

    What is the dress code?

    The dress code for the Housing Oregon Industry Support Conference is Portland gala formal. We encourage attendees to dress in a way that is professional, stylish, and comfortable for them.

    Examples of appropriate attire include:

    • Dress pants or slacks with a dress shirt or blouse

    • A dress or skirt with a dress shirt or blouse

    • A suit or blazer with dress pants or slacks

    • Dress shoes or other dressy footwear

    We ask that attendees refrain from wearing overly casual attire, such as t-shirts, shorts, or flip-flops. Please note that the conference venue may be air-conditioned, so we suggest bringing a jacket or sweater for added warmth.

    What are my transportation and parking options getting to the event?

    The Hilton Doubletree is located at 1000 NE Multnomah St., Portland, OR 97232, is easily accessible by car, bike and public transportation. It is in the Lloyd District with nearby Max stops for the red, green, and blue lines. Parking is free in the hotel garage. There is also metered street parking available.

    What is the COVID-19 Policy?

    We are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all attendees at the Housing Oregon Industry Support Conference. As such, we ask that all attendees follow the COVID-19 guidelines listed below.

    • Face Coverings: Face masks or coverings are not required but are welcome. Please bring your own mask or covering, but if you forget one, we will have disposable masks available.

    • Hand Hygiene: We encourage all attendees to practice good hand hygiene, including washing your hands often with soap and water or using hand sanitizer, which will be available throughout the conference venue.

    • Stay Home if Sick: If you are feeling unwell or have symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home and do not attend the conference.

    We will be following guidelines and regulations set forth by local and state health authorities and will adjust our policies and protocols as necessary. We appreciate your cooperation in helping to ensure a safe and successful conference.
